The Wildcats have had talented backcourts for what seems like a decade now. Juniors Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo will be handed the throne from Jenkins and Hart. Both of these talented ball handlers are experienced and will need to produce and lead the team. Brunson started on last years team and was a key playmaker and distributor. DiVincenzo showed his athletic ability and gained valuable playing time. Previously https://www.villanovabasketballjersey.com/denny-grace-jersey-c-12.html, they were able to learn from some of the greatest guards in the country. It’s now their time to continue to play well and use their experiences to teach their younger teammates.
Villanova has never relied heavily on their front court. Backcourt players like Scottie Reynolds, Randy Foye Dylan Painter Jersey, and Josh Hart have been the stars of the team in preceding seasons. This year may be different. Junior Mikal Bridges can play anywhere from shooting guard to power forward. He’s a long https://www.villanovabasketballjersey.com/customize-jersey-c-15.html, 6’7” player who is a great defender. He showed improvements in his offensive ability this past year. He also has experience playing on good teams like Brunson and DiVincenzo and should take a step forward as a leader this year. Omari Spellman is another player that, if he plays well, will keep the Wildcats as one of the best teams in the nation. He is a highly recruited, big post presence Villanova hasn’t had in a while. He wasn’t able to play last year because of academic reasons, but if he was available to cover Nigel Hayes in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Darryl Reynolds Jersey, Villanova’s fortunes may have been different.
The last X factor for another successful season for Villanova is coach Jay Wright. He has had much success in recent years, but the last year his team did not have a scholarship senior they went 13 19. Wright has to get the most he can out of this young team and should get help from his very experienced juniors. If these X factors play and coach to their potential, Villanova should have no trouble avoiding their trend of losing in the second round of the NCAA tournament that occurred before winning the championship in 2016.
